Beautiful mixture of mature parkland and heath. Relatively short (6100 yds) but tight and accuracy off the tee is critical for a decent chance of a second shot. Some truly memorable holes such as the Par three 4th and 10th and the longer 8th, 14th and 16th. Great clubhouse with views over the 10th, good beer and food.

An absolute pleasure to play, wonderful holes, perfect fairways and greens. Great value for money if you have the County Card, half the members guest rate. Only downside we played wedged behind a 28man Society, so should have finished an hour earlier then what we did, but hey, cant complain.
Would highly recommend and will defo look to go again

Best course i have played in the area and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Great clubhouse facilities and the course was in great condition for the time of year. Course was not that long but challenging and really nice to play.

A lovely golf course - built for long and short hitters a like. Not long but never the less challenging. Excellent quick greens make putting a premium on this course.

An interesting course

Whilst a short course, it is very tight and really interesting. Its a tough ask to score well round here. Nice welcome from staff, greens were excellent, I would definitely recommend

My 250th course in UK

In general this is quite a short course and one where you benefit playing with a member. Positioning off the tee to some tight fairways is crucial for a good score. These were the best greens I've putted on for a long time, such a true smooth surface.

Lovely Course

Not too long. Some picture post card 3 pars. Fast greens and plenty of bunkers.
One hole will really make you puff if you are without a buggy!

This is a lovely course. Greens like carpets and the opinion was that that this is a course that makes you want to play shots. The 10th is a par three across the deepest valley I've ever seen on a golf course! There are several holes played from elevated tees and I mean elevated. It's hilly but worth every step. ?43 for a Wednesday afternoon might seem a bit steep but it was worth every penny.

I like this course, but don't get to play it enough, and therefore always make a mess of a few holes. One thing I dislike is the closeness of a number of tees to the previous greens - you can be just 10 yards out and end up putting a ball in amongst the players in front of you, especially on the back 9. Despite this the course is well maintained with good pace greens and interesting holes.
