What the club says: Ashton & Lea Golf Club is situated in the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Preston offering fantastic views. The Club, established in the Lancashire area since 1908 borders on the new Millennium Ribble Link and offers a welcome retreat from the busy Preston City centre.

Not bad for the price however Pro shop staff very incompetent and the overall lack of course attention to detail where issues for me, new head green keeper needed me thinks.

played here last week, great course in fantastic condition considering all the rain in the last month. Cant wait to coem back to the area next year to play it. Need to improve my slice first though, challenging 18 holes!

Played on the best afternoon of the week, managed to tee off just before a league comp. Nice unrushed round, just over three hours for a two ball. Course was looking well despite days of previous heavy rain.

have played 40ish courses throughout uk. this 1 the best and hardest. love it.tight fairways and small excellent greens
