What the club says: In total there are 5 eighteen hole golf courses - Oakwood, Pines, Beeches, Willows and our new course Kigbeare.
The courses occupy a lightly wooded parkland setting, in rolling countryside on the foothills of Dartmoor National Park. Extra hazards have been added to the natural ones already present, with dozens of bunkers and eighteen lakes making play even more of a challenge.
we seam to get a bit less each year we turn up .buggys price goes up free gifts have gone.if this is the way its going we might be looking closer to home as the 450 m.ile around trip might be to much if it is not worth the eight hours of travel .we could stay at home and just travel around to our local coarses

Having so many options of courses to play it is hard to fault the choice of types of golf to suit all golfers. At present they are doing modifications to the Beeches course for the construction of a 3G Sports Pitches so the 1st & 2nd holes are out of play. The Beeches now starts at the 3rd Tee after playing the Beeches 6th you play the Pines 15th & 16th then go Beeches 7th and finish the round on the Beeches. It is well signed. When playing the Pines there is a slight change due to the 15th & 16th being used on Beeches so you use the "Spare" holes at the 7th & 17th, again all well signed and scorecards as above have been produced.

KigBeare is the signature course with at least 3 signature holes. Green good but if it hadn't been for the rain could have been cut better. Shame the distance between holes can be up to 525 yrs. Buggies, I hate tio say, a must as are the cartpaths. It's as if the course was thrown together and the cart paths are the definining link.

Would definitely recommend and definitely return.
Best course on the complex, if you enjoy a challenge in stunning surroundings. 16th par 5 is my favourite hole.
