Hampton Golf (Amida)
The recently improved 2788 yard course is set in 70 acres of mature tree-lined parkland with a water feature which comes into play on the second and third holes. It is undoubtedly one of the finest nine-hole courses in the region and is an enjoyable test for players of all levels from beginners to low-handicappers.Contact Information

Location
Location: By car from Richmond upon Thames Take the A316 (Great Chertsey Road) towards the M3. Take the Apex Roundabout (forth roundabout after Richmond and easily identifiable with Homebase and McDonalds on your left). Then take the first exit off this roundabout, keeping McDonalds and Homebase on your left. 500 metres after the entrance to Homebase, the Amida Entrance is on the right. By car from M25 Take junction 12 (signposted M3). Go onto M3 towards London (NOT to Basingstoke). The M3 becomes the A316. The road is signposted to Twickenham and the left hand lane is dedicated to Twickenham traffic. Take this exit and take the 3rd exit off roundabout, keeping McDonalds and Homebase on your left. 500 metres after the entrance to Homebase, the Amida Entrance is on the right.

Nice little course. Great for a quick nine holes. Greens are in good condition, teeing areas are a little scruffy.

Lovely public 9 hole course to play after/before/between work, esp. considering its proximity to London. Layout is decent, in good condition. Facilities include bar, spa and gym, therefore very good. Would be a regular at this club if it was an eighteen hole course.

Played here last week as it's round the corner from a job. Nothing special but great for getting a few holes in at lunch. Good for a creative practice session and a fair price. Did not use club facilities so can't really comment.

This is a hackers paradise. The course is very forgiving and short. You may become frustrated with the other golfers on the course. The greens a very small which adds a bit to the challenge. A good place to play 9 holes as a tune-up.

Play regularly good after work 9 holes has Par 5 hole of good length but 9th is very short par 4. 7th is an interesting hole with a tree 20 yds short of the green

A simple 9 hole course, good for beginners and high handicappers, very open and simple to the mid teen handicapper, should be able to shoot close to par on a good day.
Condition is good for a pay and play course and there are some big trees. The 7th hole is a bit daft with a tree 20 yards short and directly in front of a firm green that doesn't see enough sunlight, hence always in poor condition.
The 9th green is driveable for an eagle attempt.
