2 courses The Usk & The Monnow. Very different in that one is open & spacious the other very tight. Great value for a day package but you will need a buggy. Friendly run family business

Two courses for £50ish, very good value for money!
Only been a member since beginning of July, so far I have enjoyed the Monnow course everytime I have played it.
Haven't played the Usk much due to tournaments being played when I turn up!
As for the quality, fairways and greens are always immaculate and the drainage is top class. The rough is thick and very difficult to play from in wet conditions - an incentive to not go in there!
My only gripe with this course is that the tee off locations are not always level, they have too much undulation which is off-putting when trying to hit a decent drive.
Other wise, fully reccommend it, members are welcoming and the staff are fantastic.

There are two courses at Alice Springs; the Usk and the Monnow. I played the Monnow and have to say it was thoroughly enjoyable. A very scenic setting with plenty of challenging holes. There is no such thing as a flat fairway on this course! Some of the holes are a fair way appart so i would recommend a buggy which come with GPS so you can tell how far the greens are away from you. The staff were very helpful and the course accepts 2-Fore-1 vouchers which can make the value far more attractive. I will definately play this course again!!
