Get Sporty at La Manga Club this half term

Families looking to get active during the February half-term holidays can enjoy five-star fun at Spain’s La Manga Club – with a four-night break for a family of four available from only €580 (approx £445).

Europe’s premier sports and leisure destination resort boasts a wealth of first-class sporting facilties including a new David Leadbetter Golf Academy and 28-court tennis centre, and is offering accommodation in a two-bedroom townhouse in Las Lomas Village from €145 per night.

La Manga Club will be running a number of sports and leisure junior academies over the school holidays including golf and tennis, with preferential guest rates available on a wide variety of sports and activities.

The Leadbetter Academy – the only one of its kind in mainland Spain – is featuring a number of special tuition packages for children, starting from 99 (£76 approx) for a four-hour under-nine academy, with further options for youngsters in the under-15 and under-17 age groups.

Families seeking a touch of luxury for their stay can book a family room – two double rooms interconnected – in La Manga Club’s five-star Hotel Principe Felipe from only €265 per night (approx £200), with all prices including breakfast, complimentary use of Spa La Manga Club’s fitness centre, indoor pool, saunas and steam rooms and free meals for kids under five.

Youngsters aged five to 12 can enjoy free access to the resort’s Junior Club from Monday to Friday, while resort credits of €75 and more can be used at any of the award-winning venue’s restaurants for people staying five nights or more.
All breaks are inclusive of VAT and are based on two people sharing a room.

Set in an area three times the size of Monaco, La Manga Club is widely regarded as Spain’s flagship resort. It is the official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and recent accolades include being  named best golf hotel in Spain at both the 2014 World Golf Awards and 2015 Today’s Golfer Travel Awards – for the fourth year in a row.
