The Duke's St Andrews
Positioned in the United Kingdom's Top 100 courses by Golf World magazine, The Duke's St Andrews is now on many golfers 'Must Play' lists.
Opened in 1995 and designed by 5 times Open Champion, Peter Thomson, the course was re-designed in 2004 by the U.S. based Kohler Company, home to the famed Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run golf venues.
Today, The Duke's is a heathland masterpiece. Gone are the revet-faced pot bunkers and in are rough-edged spacious bunkers synonymous with bygone years of heathland golf.
With the conditioning of the course comparable with some of the finest clubs in the land, and the friendly atmosphere and welcome afforded in the luxurious clubhouse, a visit to The Duke's is highly recommended. Father's Day at The Duke's

Indulgent Dads’ Day Out at The Duke’s for Father’s Day
Throughout the month of June children will be able to show their appreciation for their Dad by treating him to nine holes of golf over the championship Duke’s Course just outside St Andrews and a 50-minute Golfers Foot Renewal carried out by one of the masseurs from the Kohler Waters Spa at the Old Course Hotel for just £99.
“As a Dad myself, I definitely recognise the need to have a day off every now and then so I am sure that nine holes of golf and a relaxing Foot Renewal massage will appeal to any Dad who enjoys the game of golf and needs some rejuvenation put back into his feet afterwards,” comments David Scott, Manager The Duke’s & Estates Landscape.
With five different tees on each hole, The Duke’s is suitable for players of every level and offers spectacular views over the Auld Grey Toon of St Andrews and the Grampians in the distance. After golf, players will be assured of a warm welcome by the clubhouse staff that prides itself in its friendliness and high levels of service.
The Duke’s St Andrews was recently honoured to win the best Golf Club in the UK at the inaugural “Golf Club of the Year Awards” for 2010. In addition to securing the overall title, The Duke’s also secured Awards for the “Best Club for Members” in the UK and the “Best Club in Scotland” in the regional Scottish Awards.
The Kohler Waters Spa in the Old Course Hotel was opened in March 2006 and in addition to offering massage, this destination spa specialises in treatments that harness the therapeutic benefits of water and provide body remineralisation using the healing properties of dried seawater composed of over 100 trace minerals.
