De Vere Cameron House - The Carrick on Loch Lomond

By: | Wed 07 Oct 2009

De Vere’s stunning Carrick on Loch Lomond with a stunning backdrop is set within a picturesque setting on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Opened in 2007 and designed by acclaimed golf course architect Doug Carrick, the Carrick offers something truly magnificent.  With it's immaculately maintained course and greens this is a real beauty of a golf course.

Having recently been the host of the 24th PGA Cup and many Professional Tour Players who were playing at the 2009 Scottish Open , this is one top course and must play venue for all golfers.

Boasting a spectacular layout, this unique course offers a truly memorable round of golf.  Nine holes stick to classic Scottish Lowland along the banks of Loch Lomond, while the other nine make you climb to tackle Highland heath and tee off on sloping fairways.

With various lagoons situated around the course as well as having 118 bunkers this is a true test for any golfer and w ith USGA specification greens it means that the Carrick is open all year round with some of the most fantastic putting surfaces in the country.

There is also a unique practice facility with an island green situated in the middle of a lagoon to test even the most accomplished of golfers.  And for the those wanting a further test then the 'Wee Demon' is a challenging 9 hole course and the older of the course at Cameron House.
