St Leonard’s Dads and Toddlers Charity Golf Day

Following recent discussions at a local Dad’s and Toddler group in Nottingham, formed in 2009, the group is coming together to organise their first Charity day at Beeston Fields Golf Club on Friday 23rd October.   The group was formed to give local Dad’s the opportunity to meet up on a Saturday once a month as part of the community.

The Charity golf day will support and raise funds for both the Lymphoma Association and Mouth Cancer Foundation.  The event is being organised by Paul Ward, who formed and organises the group, Darren Ramowski who underwent chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2008 and John Dabell who is currently being treated for Mouth Cancer.

Open to all standards the event will be an individual stableford format (full handicap allowance) also including longest drive, nearest the pin and putting competition. The Cost is only £35 including coffee and bacon roll on arrival, on course refreshments, 18 hole competition plus additional on day competitions.  A £10 deposit will be required to secure your place.  We will also be holding a raffle prior and during the event.

Beeston Fields Golf Club - Friday 23rd October from 9am

 - Combined team award (TBC) - so get your mates or colleagues involved!

Photography and Video
 - I am also hoping to have an on the day photographer plus offer every golf there swing to be filmed on 1 particular hole and receive a free online video swing check courtesy of the Swing Zone.
