Donnington Grove Country Club is a fantastic golf venue situated in 550 acres of its own beautifully secluded grounds and features a superb 18-hole championship golf course designed by Dave Thomas, reaching over 7,000 yards.

The estate provides an ideal setting for the hotel and golf course, including the River Lambourn running though it and coming into play on a number of holes.

Dave Thomas designed, the course is both aesthetically beautiful and a great challenge for all level of golfers. The two nines are very different in character; the front nine is very undulating on higher ground and has stunning views over Newbury, whilst the back nine is classic parkland, with an abundance of beautiful trees and water hazards that can unnerve even the bravest of hitters.

This quality golf course has held two Euro Pro Tours in recent years and in 2004 hosted the Donnington Grove Computacenter English Challenge Open.

After your round the onsite hotel offers a great place to relax, set within a beautifully renovated 18th Century Gothic house. Perfect for golfers after a touch of class, the hotel as offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that runs throughout. An interesting and well kept course which provided a good test

Very nice holes and always in excellent condition

This course was in tip-top condition. The bunkers were strategically placed and the greens were running fast. The wind played a big factor, especially for the inward nine
