The 6,262 yard course is a great deal more difficult than it might first appear with the River Wharfe acting as an ever-present threat for the first seven holes of this tree-lined course. Ryder Cup legend Colin Montgomerie learnt his golf here and the club also boasts Mark James as an honorary life member. His highlight of the course is the par 3 15th, of which he says: "it is only an 8 or 9 iron in but the sloping green can look tiny in the normal left to right wind."
